The care and refreshing of Friends
How delightful is this verse?
The next day we landed at Sidon; and Julius, treating Paul with [thoughtful] consideration, allowed him to go to his friends there and be cared for and refreshed.- Acts 27:3
Paul was able to be refreshed and cared for in the hands of his friends.
Can you and I be relied on to provide care and refreshing to the people who call us friend?
I certainly would like to be.
The man of too many friends [chosen indiscriminately] will be broken in pieces and come to ruin, But there is a [true, loving] friend who [is reliable and] sticks closer than a brother.- Proverbs 18:24 AMP
